Austin Film Festival

I am heading to the Austin Film Festival in less than a week! I haven’t been to AFF since 2018, and I hear the city has changed significantly since then. I guess I’ll see how successful they’ve been at keeping it weird. Then again, how successful have any of us been keeping it weird? That’s part of why I feel so committed to making About The Author: I refuse to stop being weird.

As it happens, ATA is not the screenplay that placed as a second rounder this year. That’s actually one of my other features, Hail to Whatever. But the WeFunder is going live in less than a week, so anyone who runs into me there can pretty much expect to hear entirely about that.

I’ll be taking lots of pictures and sharing plenty of updates from the writers conference, so stay tuned.

Those will probably go up on my Instagram and TikTok first, so you might want to give me a follow there: @paigesoup on both platforms
